The Smart UV-C Sterilization Cabinet is an IoT-enabled embedded system designed for controlled UV-C sterilization of suitable medical, laboratory, and other compatible objects. The system uses an ESP32 microcontroller to control the UV-C sterilization cycle, monitor UV intensity, track lamp operating hours, and manage multiple sterilization modes. A reed-switch-based safety interlock detects the cabinet door status and prevents UV-C operation when the door is open. A UV sensor monitors the intensity of the UV source, while lamp operating hours are recorded to support maintenance and replacement alerts. The system also provides automatic timer control, cycle completion indication, cycle history, and IoT-based status notifications.
